- Legea nr. 85/2014 privind procedurile de prevenire a insolvenței și de insolvență — the general framework for insolvency prevention and insolvency proceedings;
- Legea nr. 216/2022 — the reform of preventive restructuring: the restructuring agreement and the preventive concordat (transposing Directive (EU) 2019/1023);
- Legea societăților nr. 31/1990 — including the dissolution and liquidation of companies (Title VII);
- Legea nr. 265/2022 privind registrul comerțului — procedures before the National Trade Register Office (ONRC); it repealed Law no. 26/1990 and Law no. 359/2004;
- Legea nr. 151/2015 privind procedura insolvenței persoanelor fizice — personal insolvency, in force since 1 January 2018;
- O.U.G. nr. 86/2006 privind organizarea activității practicienilor în insolvență — the organisation of the insolvency practitioner profession;
